Accessibility policy and compliance with standards.

The Alcorcón City Council aims to ensure that everyone can use its platform without encountering physical, technological, or intellectual barriers. For this reason, we are working to achieve Level AA compliance with the Accessibility Guidelines.
Accessibility features

Structure of the pages

The portal pages are structured correctly, separating content and presentation through the use of style sheets (CSS). This allows content to be accessed through non-visual browsers or when the default style sheets are not desired.
Valid, well-tagged HTML is used, with a heading structure that allows for easy navigation through the content.

Text.

The text size can be resized according to the user's preferences. To do this, you can use the CTRL+ and CTRL- keys. Similarly, you can set a larger font in your browser's "settings" to ensure the page remains as readable as possible.

Links.

We work to ensure that all links are understandable and clear, even when taken out of context.
Images and other multimedia elements.
We make every effort to ensure that the portal can be accessed without having to view images or other multimedia elements. To this end, we provide alternative text where necessary.

Device dependency.

The content is operable via keyboard without a specific time limit for keystrokes.
Considerations.
The information contained on the portal has been created progressively. Gecor System actively works every day to achieve a consistent level of accessibility. Therefore, our intention is to implement improvements according to the natural content update process (for example, improvements to images and color contrast).

Contact.

Accessibility is a continuous effort, and we welcome any feedback or suggestions that may help us improve our site. You can contact us through the Suggestions and Complaints Office.
