Music and light are the stars of the opening of Christmas on a very special afternoon full of surprises.

This year the city has a total of 734,012 LED points, which are divided into 98 arches, 156 lampposts, 5 facades, 53 floor figures, 1 3D structure, 4 signs, 840 garlands and 24 trees

The switching on of lights has been accompanied by a videomapping, a show entitled 'The light of Alcorcón' thanks to which the façade of the church of Santa María la Blanca came to life.

Subsequently, the mayoress 'inaugurated' Christmas in the city with the traditional switching on of lights.

The day featured a very special musical event: the 'Christmas time' concert by the group Trivox (tribute to Il Divo) that brought the most beautiful melodies from the international Christmas repertoire with songs like 'Ave Maria' by Schubert, 'Hallelujah' by L. Cohen, 'The little drummer', or 'Holy night', among many others.
