Who are we? Where do we come from? Where are we going?

These are the basic questions we have to ask ourselves in order to know ourselves. And perhaps these are the questions that people who are reading these lines are asking themselves.

We are going to try to transmit this information in a clear and orderly way.

Where does the name Deportivo Libertad come from? Well, it comes from the fact that most of the people who participate in this project live in the area around Avda. de la Libertad, in Alcorcón. There is no need to look for three feet to the cat trying to get a meaning out of that context. We came up with it in a meeting we had in the bar (where important decisions are made) among some other names. After a few rounds and some important e-mails in the following days we decided to call ourselves that. There are no further explanations, another name could have come up but this one was generally liked and we stuck with it.

We owe most of the coat of arms to Fernando, and to the contributions of other parents, who have given their opinion on the matter until we got the current coat of arms. It is not of 'supreme' importance, but we had to have a coat of arms and there it is, almost 100% defined.
