Consultation of documents in the Municipal Archives

The consultation of documents is free and has no more limitations than those derived from the nature of the document, its conservation and current legislation. If the query refers to documents that may contain personal data or other data reserved by law, the supporting documents that serve to demonstrate the legitimate interest in said documents must be presented. To consult the records of private works, for example, the condition of interested party must be documented, either by being the owner, tenant, adjoining neighbor, president of the community of owners, drafter of the project, or being authorized by any of them.

Interested parties must submit a Request for Access to Archive Documents (print 3 copies) in the General Registry of the City Council or make the same through the Electronic Registry.

The service is free but to obtain copies a fee must be paid, in accordance with the Tax Ordinance Regulating the Fee for Document Management. The prices, depending on the format of the requested copy, are as follows:
