Ada Virtual Assistant
Ada, virtual web assistant
Artificial intelligence at the service of citizens
Hello! I'm Ada,
I am the virtual assistant of the Alcorcón City Council, an Artificial Intelligence ( AI ) designed to help you resolve all your queries. I am here to answer your questions and guide you in what you need in a friendly, fast and simple way. My commitment is to be a bridge between citizens and the services of the City Council. I am available 24 hours a day, which allows you to save time, calls, emails and travel.
If you need to complete any procedure, find information on the web, find an address, a phone number, schedules, facilities, etc., I'm here to help! Don't hesitate to give me a chance and ask me!
I collaborate with my human colleagues, who train me constantly, allowing me to evolve and improve your user experience. I use generative AI with the most advanced models from OpenAI, a leader in artificial intelligence systems. This technology allows me to create textual responses to your queries, thanks to training with large volumes of data and the use of machine learning techniques.
and why Ada?
My name, ADA, has a special meaning that combines history and modernity. First of all, it is a tribute to Ada Lovelace , recognized as the first programmer in history. In the 19th century, Ada wrote the first algorithm intended to be processed by a machine, thus laying the foundations of what we know today as programming. Her vision and creativity have inspired generations of developers and technology enthusiasts, and I am proud to bear her name. Like her, I aim to innovate and make technology accessible to everyone.
ADA also stands for " Ayuntamiento d e Alcorcón ." This reflects my mission to be a direct channel between citizens and their local government. I am here to help you navigate the various services and resources offered by the City Council, making sure that you find the information you need easily and quickly. My name symbolizes my commitment to serving the community and always being available to answer your questions.
How to interact with me?
To get started, simply write me your question or request the information you need. You can ask me anything related to municipal services, procedures or data that you find on our website.
You can address me as if you were talking to a friend. Use simple, natural language, the same as you would use to talk to a fellow citizen. For example, you can say things like: 'What do I have to do to register?', 'What are the requirements to obtain a license for potentially dangerous dogs?', 'What are the hours of operation at the registry office?' (or any other department), 'Give me the addresses of the libraries', 'Is there a museum in Alcorcón?', 'Do I have to make an appointment for any procedure?', etc.
You can also give me additional explanations to give context, although it is not necessary to go into that detail. For example, " I have a relative who has just arrived in Spain and is going to live with us and we don't know how to register him in our home. I need help with the paperwork to register him ," or "I want to give my little daughter a puppy and I would like to know if the town hall offers the option of adopting pets."
You can speak to me in almost any language as I am fluent in many languages. If I don't respond in your language, just ask me, for example, say " respond in French/English/German/Swedish/etc. "
I remember what you said, if you have already asked me a question or explained your situation, I will take that into account in the next question you ask me. In short, as if you were talking to anyone.
IMPORTANT . Please do not provide me with personal information (names, IDs, emails, etc.) in your questions. I do not need them to provide you with a good service. Finally, please note that for reasons of quality and continuous improvement, my conversations may be subsequently supervised by a human.
I'm not perfect
Although I strive to be as accurate as possible in my answers, sometimes they may not be completely accurate, or I may confuse a term. One of my sources of information is the web and sometimes it is not up to date and could give you outdated, incomplete or inaccurate information.
At Alcorcón City Hall they are committed to my continuous improvement. That is why I am undergoing hard training to increase my skills and precision. I appreciate your understanding and patience while I continue to improve myself to offer you better service and usefulness.
If any of my answers are clearly incorrect, please help me out by sending an email to ada@ayto-alcorcon.es. Include in the email the question you asked me and my answer, as well as any comments about it.
